The survey asks you where you get information about the council from – it will be interesting if anyone puts ‘onlinefocus’, or indeed John Mason’s site.
We would be better not to have a Council website where we are invited to leave our comments then have one where we undergo censorship. Does this mean that we will never be able to put adverse comments on ‘their’ website. We should have known that following on from the’cabinet’ system that they employ, where a hanful of people have power over our lives that RDC would hold a Councillor’s comments under moderation. What on earth have the Tory council to fear from Chris Black’s comments.
The Tories are living on borrowed time now, another three years time could see them out of office, because, they do not listen to what we, the residents are telling them, because they have the deluded sense that they know what is better for us.
The Labour government was given the tag of introducing the Nanny state, Please substitute Labour for Rochford District Coubcil.
Even so Chris, a Councillors comments! If the system knows your email address and you are a Councillor surely the system is intelligent enough to allow your comments through the system, Unless the system employed is not that intelligent?

Let’s not jump to conclusions
I think the District Council website people simply moderate all comments before publishing!
Especially over a bank holiday weekend….
