I have absolutely no idea what this candidates priorites are – I think that it would be a good idea to use this site to pose questions to her so that everyone can see her responses before making their minds up on May 6th.
Susan, along with the other three candidates contending the new Rayleigh & Wickford parliamentary constituency, have been invited to a hustings event being held at Holy Trinity church, Rayleigh, 7.00pm start, Saturday 24 April.
You could find out more about her priorities and intentions, there?!?
(NB This hustings event is being organised by the churches together in our area. Further details of it should be available over the next few days – Mike Lodge, Rector of Rayleigh, is acting as organiser.)
RR, you could always read the Manifesto! (I believe the LibDem one comes out tomorrow. Chris, am I right?!?) I have speed-read Labour’s last night, don’t have energy for the Tories’ tonight, but will get to it tomorrow (!) and will read Lib Dem before the week is out.)
Old-fashioned citizen-enganement – end of…. 😉
Chris, is the paid employees of RDC in the public domain? For example if we wanted to see the salary of the ‘Chief Executive’ or ‘Head of planning department’ salary, would this be common knowledge?
Susan,
The people in Hullbridge are extremely upset with the Conservative local councillors and the Labour Party. As you can see as you drive into Hullbridge the bad feeling about our local councillors has spread to the response we received from Mark Francois hence the condition of his poster. I am not sure what you can do to help Hullbridge’s cause but I would strongly recommend you find out and come along on Friday night to meet your potential electors. Might I suggest given that Chris has already been introduced to villagers that he comes along to make introductions. I think if you can deliver the right message and show villagers that you care they will respond in kind. If it seems that the Lib Dem candidate does not also care then either the BNP or English Democrats will get their votes.

Happy for you to email me the questions, or do it here is Chris and the team feel that is appropriate! 🙂

Not everyone can attend evening meetings – if candidates are looking for votes then they need to tell people what they are about – end of.
