In our campaigning so far only two national political figures are being mentioned by residents.
Although this is a traditional Conservative area, David Cameron’s name just isn’t being mentioned.
Gordon Brown does get mentioned , and he’s not popular.
Vince Cable is the other fellow who gets mentioned, and people are very positive about him. One chap kept calling out from a van to us that he thought Vince had wiped the floor with George Osbourne and Alasdair Darling in the recent TV debate.
