It’s not clear yet when Priory Chase and Temple Way will be adopted as public highway, though County Highways seem to be doing their best.
There are still outstanding works to be completed by Wimpey and the developers for Asda (two separate companies). we understand that Wimpey in particular are keen to complete as soon as possible.
Works outstanding are changes to the delivery entrance of Priory Chase where there is ‘vehicle overrun’ and some cycleway issues between Priory
Chase and Rawreth Lane.
At some stage (hopefully we are talking months here) the adoption will be done from County Hall and when it starts is likely to take 6-7 weeks.
Thanks for asking the question Chris. I know you will anyway but please keep on their case! Hopefully the road adoption will coincide with the opening of the football pitches at the very least?
I’d like to think so, but it’s not certain; it’s two different lots of council officers dealing with this.
