As usual, Downhall Primary School will be used as a polling station on the first Thursday in May.
What makes it really interesting is that the District Council has been told there will be a real circus – with acrobats and everything – on the school field that day….
It’s true – I’ve got my tickets! I believe tickets for those without a connection to the school go on sale tomorrow…. roll up – roll up!
I’m just worried that someone will come up to me on polling day and say they like my comedy clown ears – and I have to admit they are my real ones. 🙂
How much are the tickets? Where are they purchased?
The tickets cost £8 each and you can get them by emailing downhallpta@hotmail.co.uk. Gates will open at 5pm on Thursday 5th May and stone baked pizza, jacket potatoes, fish and chips, burgers, ice cream, tea, coffee and face painting will be available on the school field. What could be better – coming out to vote and then getting a great tea and some family entertainment!
