So we are gradually putting information on onlinefocus about it.
If you want to know more about one of the items below, just click on it.

The Hawkwell ideas are here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1063718/South%20Hawkwell%20175%20dwellings.pdf
and if I can work my links properly you can find the Hullbridge proposals here http://bit.ly/bhPhFU
Michael, that works fine. Wasn’t there one that also included building on ALL of Lords Golf Club, some of Lubbards Farm and Fairways too or wasn’t that classed as Hullbridge?
Yes they did suggest the Golf Club in one of the “ideas” presented, but they have come back to those shown on the link as the current proposal.
Got it! I was looking at the larger appendix document thinking it was all those sites!
Thanks Michael
What about the use of Lords golf club in Hullbridge? Building there would also introduce the idea of being able to build a train station at Hullbridge because of the close location of the site to the existing railyway line?
I cant find the information regarding the development of Lords Golf Club and Lubards Farm.
My heart sank to my feet when I read this as a possible site. I thought this to be green belt, obviously I am wrong, are we in this part of Rayleigh to be concreted over too?
Please tell me this is as likely to happen as proposed 6,000 jobs in Southend Airport.
No need for your heart to sink…..
Lords Golf club and Lubards farm are two of the many sites that were suggested for development but have been rejected by the council…..
Admin are you saying the proposals for the whole area are a done deal then, it’s just which slight variation gets picked? Hullbridge plans are a few slight variations on a theme, it looks the same with Rayleigh too and I haven’t had time to digest many otrher areas.
Carole, I don’t see there’s a huge amount of difference in the plans, it’s nearly all Green Belt sites proposed isn’t it?
Bryan, as far as the District Council is concerned it is effectively a done deal. But the govt inspector may decide differently….
So for Hullbridge it’s Malyons farm or Malyons Farm or Malyons Farm or Malyons Farm! You can object to the whole Hullbridge site ideas and write a very generous 100 words on why and where you’d propose instead on the council website.
