Road breaking up around the stop cock cover which is located in the road near the kerb near the entrance to the sheltered housing.

The drain cover just the other side of the railway bridge in the direction of Hockley Village is sinking and as a result drivers try to avoid it but as the road is fairly narrow and has a slight bend this causes problems to oncoming traffic and there have been a few near misses. An attempt to repair the problem has been carried out but not successfully.
