WIn the last 24 hours we have received complaints about the dog and litter bins in and nearby Sweyne Park Open Space not being emptied and indeed overflowing.
The reason for this is the collapse of the council contractors Fountains -we passed the complaints onto the District Council and had the following swift reply:
The dog bins are currently being emptied by SITA and the Open Spaces Team. Unfortunately this has caused some delays but all bins should be emptied this week. I have forwarded your email to the Open Spaces team to try and make this a priority,
