Members of the press and public are invited to the Holocaust Memorial Day on Thursday, January 27 2011.
This year it will take place in Rayleigh at Rochford District Council?s specially commissioned memorial in Bellingham Lane, outside The Mill Arts & Events Centre, followed by a talk by Holocaust survivor Leslie Kleinman in the Mill Hall.To remember the victims of the Holocaust and other atrocities, Councillors, religious leaders, representatives from community organisations and schools will gather at the memorial at 1.30pm….
Hi. Could anyone tell me if any local press were actually in attendance? I’ve been unable to locate any articles (and photos) on websites or in the local press for this event (and strangely neither for the gathering in Southend). Am I missing something this year? Were all the journalists in Grays? Thanks.
