We had a complaint from a resident yesterday about the traffic lights at the junction of Rawreth Lane and Downhall Park Way.
The complaint was that the red phase for motorists on Rawreth Lane had changed from 14 seconds to 30 seconds , and that this was causing even greater tailbacks on Rawreth Lane.
We’ve contacted Atkins , the County Council contractors, and look forward to their response….
We’ve now been told that some vehicle detection loops were damaged at this site due to ECC carriageway resurfacing.
The loops have now been repaired and the traffic signals should now be operating as designed
