Three organisations have made it on to the shortlist for the UK?s largest highways deal in Essex worth up to ?3bn over the next ten years.

The project will see several existing contracts to operate Essex?s highways replaced with one single long-term partnership.??The bidders progressing to the next stage are:

The announcement means that four rival bidders have failed to make the cut.

Do any of these install lights to give pedestrians right of way when crossing a road? A reminder that there should be work starting soon at Downhall Park Way. BUT the real moan is those who are parking cars for sale on the grass verge at the end of Ferndale Road. You are ruining the grass and probably the bulbs planted there recently. Also decreasing visibility when exiting Ferndale and when blocking the pavement making it hard for those pushing wheelchairs to avoid the mud or going unto the road. Please move them this is not a car sales area.
