We?ve had lots of comments from residents and parents about the planning application from Rayleigh Boys for 8 extra sports pitches near the Chichester in Old London Road, Rawreth.
Those in favour say that Rayleigh Boys YFC do a lot of good in the community and need a permanent base.
Those against say that this is a big proposal that creates masses of traffic in one rural location, and that things can?t be managed properly when someone else is also operating pitches on the same site.
So this isn?t an easy planning application to deal with! It?s likely to come to the council Development Committee on April 22nd, and we’ll be keeping an open mind until the meeting. We?d be glad to talk to you if you have a view?.
