We’ve heard that from From Monday 15th November 2010 Rochford DC will be carrying out work to improve the drainage and resurface the car park at Sweyne Park, Downhall Park Way, Rayleigh. The car park will be closed for a period of 6-8 weeks (subject to weather). Access to the allotments will be restricted by vehicle but every effort will be made to keep this restriction to a minimum.
… A couple of houses next to the car park were nearly flooded last winter….
I have an allotment at Sweyne Park,what are the resrictions to the allotments, does this mean no vechilar access?, I have had no notification from Rayleigh Town Council. Do you know if any work is planned on the access driveway up to the allotment gate?, as the tyre track puddles during heavy rain
