Could I ask this question? Any officer doing their job properly is more likely to receive complaints than one who is not? Sit in an office do zero and no complaints. Confront issues and you will. Comments please.
Separate issue if surgeons have % figures publicised will they only operate on certainties. High risk patients may not be treated to keep success and % rate high. Discuss.
Bruce, linking to this wasn’t meant to be a criticism of the police. I think its to their credit, and of Nick Alston, that this stuff is being made public.
There were 7 significant or high profile’ complaints made in Essex in 3 months. One person might feel that that is seven too many. Another person might feel that figure is quite low, and reassured that the Commissioner is being transparent about this.
