The January meeting of Rawreth Parish Council was cancelled due to snow and ice, but hopefully the February meeting will run smoothly! It’s on Wednesday at 7;30 in the Village Hall. Some of the items on the agenda are:
222. FLOODING IN THE PARISH- Update regarding flooding issues in and around the Parish

223. RAWRETH LANE PLAYING FIELDS- Update regarding the extension to the car park.

224. LOCAL DEVELOPMENT FRAMEWORK PROPOSALS- Council to discuss any development with regards to the final draft of the Core Strategy document. Council also to discuss holding a twelve hour traffic survey on Beeches Road and Rawreth Lane in preparation for the public enquiry.

226. LAND TO THE WEST OF THE PUMPING STATION- Update regarding enforcement action.

227 LAND DRAIN LONDON ROAD (adjacent to Claremont) ? Update and progress report with regards to the problem with the land drain disgorging onto the pavement.

228. WEST AREA COMMITTEE ? Update regarding a meeting with Rochford District Council to discuss how effective the West Area Committee is in attracting local residents, and whether residents know what the committee is actually for.

229. TRAVELLERS SITE (A1245) ? Update and progress report with regards to Enforcement.

230. OLD LONDON ROAD SPEED RESTRICTIONS- Update and progression report regarding the request for the re-restriction of the Old London Road

231. STREET LIGHTS AT BATTLESBRIDGE BRIDGE- Council to discuss any response from Rettendon Parish Council regarding the restricted vision of oncoming traffic at night.

232. OBSOLETE MAINS ELECTRICITY SUPPLY CABLING IN THE PARISH- Council to discuss any replies from EDF regarding the prolonged power cut in the Parish in November.
