Rawreth Parish Council Support Motion

Rawreth Parish Council have officially stated their support for the motion on housing from District Councillors John Mason and Michael Hoy:

“Rawreth Parish Council believe that, at this point within the LDF Core Strategy procedures, it is absolutely essential that RDC instigates a full and thorough survey of all housing needs throughout the District in order to establish the correct housing requirements, Parish by Parish.

To this end, please be advised that Rawreth Parish Council fully supports the Motion put forward by John Mason Councillor for Hawkwell and Michael Hoy Councillor for Hullbridge, to be put to Full Council on 27 July:

“Pursuant to the Parliamentary Statement made by The Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government on 6 July 2010, this Council agrees to carry out a housing needs study for Rochford District and adjust the housing allocations proposed in the Core Strategy to satisfy the minimum needs of our community.” “

We understand that Hullbridge Parish Council has come out in support as well. Will other parish councils follow?
