We’ve just had the following email tonight from the Rawreth Parish Clerk:

Just to remind everyone that the Parish Council are holding a survey of car movements along both Beeches Road/Watery lane and Rawreth lane over a twelve hour period, 7am to 7pm on Thursday the 25th of March 2010. We are still looking for volunteers to help collect this information and basically all you need to be able to do is count and spare two hours of your day. It is planned to break the day into 2 hour shifts consisting of two people per shift, and we are planning to collect data from three points, the entrance to Rawreth Playing Fields, Rawreth Lane, the junction of Priory Chase and Rawreth Lane, and the junction of Chelmsford Road and Beeches Road, so thirty six people in total are needed

The Local Development Framework (Core Strategy) Public Enquiry is now expected to take place in the middle of May 2010 and it is therefore imperative that we have this information as part of our representation.

If you can offer your help please contact me by email or phone 01268 631821 (please leave a message if the answer phone is on with your name and number and I will return the call) .

Thank you in advance and please spread the word to anyone who does not have access to the Internet. or those who do not live in the Parish but will still be affected should these developments be approved.

Regards Hayley
