Paul Trathen, the parish priest for Rawreth, is leaving to take up a new position in the church:
I am delighted and privileged to have recently been appointed as the Chaplain to the new Bishop of Chelmsford, +Stephen Cottrell, who starts his public ministry on Saturday of next week (27 November 2010). I shall be starting at the same time into bits and pieces of my new work, whilst continuing to live in Rawreth and offering the ministry of the parish priest. I shall then cease serving the parish after our worship together on Sunday 30 January 2011 and shall be moving house and starting to work full-time alongside the Bishop.
