Manufacturing In Rochford…..

We saw a brief mention of a Rochford company, Hanningfield Process Systems, on the Southend Radio website as being up for a business award of up to ?27,000.

That sounded like good news – we certainly need more ‘quality’ jobs in this part of Essex – so we looked them up on the net.

Looking at their website, Hanningfield describe themselves as being ‘formed in 1987 to specialise in the design and manufacture of process equipment for the pharmaceutical and associated industries.’

They are clearly trying to expand, with two companies recently appointed as representatives in the USA.

And they clearly produce stuff for other uses than pharmaceuticals. This news report here explains how they supplied some equipment for milling down Maldon sea salt crystals for use in making upmarket potato crisps!
