In December, James identified some funding available to the Town Council to pass on to families in need. Working with the clerk, they successfully applied and received £2250.
However, the heavy lifting has been done by two Rayleigh Town Councillors and the clerk.
Cllr’s Bruce Smart and Julie Sawford, have worked together to distribute vouchers for food via local schools. To date vouchers to the value of £1,980 have been distributed supporting 43 adults and 72 children.
