There were a couple of complaints on the FixMyStreet website today about an advert flyposted in Ferry Road, Hullbridge

It’s great to see an officer at the District Council responding online within a few hours:

Dear Sir, Could you please confirm whether the advertising sign is on the public highway or a private property. If the sign is attached to a property, I can pass your report to Rochford Council’s Planning Enforcement Team.

However, if the sign is on the public highway (such as the pavement or a street light), it would come under Essex County Council’s Highways Team to investigate.
