The District Council kicks off the new civic year next Tuesday night with Annual Council.
With the Conservatives having such a big majority, the main interest will be in seeing whom their leader Terry Cutmore picks for his cabinet. We won’t know that until the night. However, outside the cabinet, Cllr Joan Mockford will step up from Vice-Chair to Chair of the Council. Also Simon Smith will be the new Chairman of the Development Committee, replacing Phil Capon. June Lumley will stay as Chair of the Review Committee.
