Coucnillors don’t often get involved in pig catching. But Ron Oatham did yesterday.
Driving along Watery Lane, he saw a pig come out of a hedge and then trot down the road. It held the traffic up quite well….
Ron stopped at the nearest home to see if the residents could help, and a couple of people joined him. They then pursued the pig (a youngish fellow about a year old). Ron grabbed a back leg and soon things were sorted out.
If Ron had the back leg, who took the ribs?
