Flood damage help
To help residents affected by the recent severe weather, Rochford District Council will collect any flood damaged items free of charge. Please call our Customer Services team on 01702 318111 or email customerservices@rochford.gov.uk with your details.

  • So – does Rayleigh have an Emergency Plan in place (I think that is a mandatory requirement), if so did it spring into action last weekend (or since)?.
    If there is’nt one or it did’nt respond then it begs the question why not? – I don’t think collecting the debris free of charge qualifies as an emergency plan.
    BBC TV interviewed Councillor Cutmore who gave the impression that it was up to the residents…….!!!.
    Maybe those made homeless would like to comment here?.
