A outline planning application is now in for a 9-hole golf course in Rawreth, to the east of the Chichester. There would be onsite parking, and an ancillary building.

Planning permission was apparently granted for something similar in 1992 but the golf course was not actually created, so the permission expired.
As always, District Councillors have to stay neutral in advance of the meeting, however we would welcome your comments. But more importantly – if you do have any comments send them to the District Council!
Chris Black said he would get back to me with revised plans but I have heard nothing. My property will bear the brunt of this development with a new entrance right by my gate way and with 40 lorries a day plus earth moving equipment and it taking 2 1/2 years to do my life here will be altered dramatically. When it is finished the car park and practise nets will be adjacent to the side of my garden and number nine hole at the rear of my garden being teed off towards my property which will cause considerable noise and there is the health and safety aspect of it with inaccurate swings of golf clubs. I do hope my safety and that of my pets and property will be considered.

Sue@1, I’m sure you feel pretty fed up about the golf course but come on, Elf & Safety concerns about golf clubs……no wonder this country has become another State of America……anyway, would write more but yesterday my hearing was nearly damaged by a car going past…..Compo !!!????
