Following our recent post about the problems of getting no through road signs, we’ve now had the following from the District Council:
Further to your request regarding No Through Road to be added to street nameplates at the following sites, our contract monitoring officer confirms that an order will be placed tomorrow for Ely Way, Farm View and Kelso Close. The nameplates will take approx. 6-8 weeks which includes the order time and time for contractors to install.
No Through Road Signs – To report today, 28th November, Ely Way is now the proud owner of a brand new street nameplate complete with No Through Road plate. Whilst I am pleased to see the latter, was the expensive of a completely new sign necessary!
