At Essex County Council’s Full Council meeting on May 10th he put in a written question regarding how much money the County has spent on Consultants and Agency Staff over the last three years and asked for a breakdown of these costs by category for each year.
The answers were as follows:

The total amount of money spent on Consultants and agency staff over the last three years is ?173 million.
That seems an awful lot of money….. would be nice to know if any of these agency staff filled any potholes…
