onlineFOCUS has been going about 6 1/2 years now, and as we steadily gain in readership we’d like to think that it’s becoming a useful facility for local residents. We’ve written over 1,700 items for the site, and received over 4,400 comments.
So it was nice when Conservative County Councillor Stephen Castle said at the Downhall School meeting last week that this was ‘a great website’.
We’ve now been nominated in the “Digital Inclusion’ category for the 2009 New Statesman New Media Awards. We don’t expect to win, but it would be great to get a bit of publicity, because that might attract extra readers, which is always helpful…..
