On Sunday evening Chris Black emailed someone in Rochford District Council Planning Enforcement, expecting to get a response sometime the next day, during working hours. But he was surprised and pleased to get an email reply back from the officer just before bedtime. Thanks for that.
Then yesterday someone left a message on FixMyStreet reporting a pothole in Hedgehope Avenue, Rayleigh. As a result our Lib Dem colleague Chris Lumley went up there this morning with a county highways officer, and took a photo. Hopefully it will be fixed soon…
