The Old House in Rochford is a handsome thirteenth century timber-framed house. It’s owned by the District Coucnil, is part of the Council Offices and in fact the Chief Executive has his own office upstairs there.
Curiously, a local Essex Ghost Hunters group recently stayed overnight with some equipment. After their visit they believe there are one of more ‘presences’ in the building, including one of a cat….. If they announce any more findings, we will let you know.
