Keith Hudson is defending his seat for the Conservatives, and is opposed by the English Democrats (Thomas Broad) and UKIP (Carl Whitwell).
Cllr Hudson has the home advantage here – the English Democrat candidate lives in Rayleigh and the UKIP candidate lives in Southend.
However you have to give those parties credit for at least providing voters with a choice……
