In another blow to the Rayleigh and Rochford Conservative group’s disastrous plans, the new joint administration has laid out its plans to invest in the local community and specifically youth and disabled groups with the reopening of Castle Hall in Rayleigh.

At the meeting of the Executive next week (21/9) the lead members will be asked to consider the report which details recommendations for the use of this Council’s asset.

This report seeks the Executive’s agreement to re-open Castle Hall and to lease the site to England Boxing. In order to achieve this the Council needs to end it’s arrangement with Fusion regarding managing Castle Hall. As Freight House is also managed by Fusion the Council wishes to take the opportunity to end the contract over both sites.
