We are expecting the second application, for the stadium overflow car park just inside Rochford District, to come to the Development Services Committee on December 19th (though we haven’t seen confirmation yet).
It’s worth mentioning one point here, that councillors are aren’t allowed to say in advance how they are going to vote on planning issues. We aren’t being devious , it’s simply against the rules. So if you see in a newspaper that “councillor X is in favour of the Stadium”, or “Councillor Y will vote against the application”, take it with a pinch of salt, because none of us are likely to say such a thing.
