Rawreth have their first parish council meeting of 2011 at 7:30 next Wednesday Jan 5th in the village hall.

Possibly the key items of interest are:

218. PRESENTATION BY THE ENVIRONMENT AGENCY -A presentation by Pete Downes of the EA on their proposals for the area, including time for questions and answers.

… which links nicely to:

224. FLOODING IN THE PARISH- Update regarding flooding issues in and around the Parish, including a copy of a letter sent by Mr P Plummer to the Prime Minister.

232. BEECHES ROAD WEIGHT RESTRICTION ? Council to discuss any developments regarding the newly enforceable weight restriction in Beeches Road

– which follows on from recent accidents

234.SAINT NICHOLAS CHURCH- Council to consider an email received from The PCC of Saint Nicholas Church, Rawreth who are currently investigating the possibility of removing two large Sycamore trees, very close to the east end of the church building. The PCC have asked if the Parish Council could confirm they have no objections to the trees being felled.
