We are pleased to report that Rochford District Council has announced that they have extended the deadline for the consultation until the 22nd of September. Lib Dem and RDR Councillors had made representations to officers to extend the deadline giving more time past the summer holidays for residents to respond to this important consultation on the future of the District. To give interested parties additional time to respond, the Council is extending the deadline to its current local planning consultations for a further two weeks.
Both the New Local Plan: Spatial Options Consultation (and its Integrated Impact Assessment) and the Statement of Community Involvement 2021 Review will now close to comments at 5pm on Wednesday 22nd September.
