There was a meeting yesterday between some of the Rochford Lib Dem councillors and the Southend ones. It was a chance to discuss how each group is doing – we’ve both gained one or two seats recently – and look to the future.
The Southend Lib Dems are clearly a little bit more adventurous than us about social events. For example, they have a coach trip to Ostend by coach and ferry on 20th October. The cost is ?27.50 and you can get more details from graham_longley@hotmail.com.
