The Shop at my Local campaign has been launched

Partners gathered in the gardens of Rochford Council

A number of local councils, business representative groups and individual businesses have been working in partnership to deliver Shop at my Local (SAML) which was launched today in Rochford.

The SAML Partnership will work with local traders to deliver a range of projects, events and incentives to attract shoppers to the main shopping areas in the Rochford District. SAML will help rasie awareness of the need to use and sustain local shopping areas and local traders. SAML also encourages traders to use othe rlocal businesses in their supply chains.

The shopatmylocal website is up and running for traders now, it will be ready for shoppers on September 1st.
