The Goldsmith Drive site has been recommended for rejection. Reasons:
1. inappropriate development on green belt land
2. no electric or water supply
3. unsurfaced road unacceptable for access for vehicles with trailers/ generators
4. contravenes R.D.C. core strategy and national policy PPG2
Please note that the Town Council can only put forward a view – it is the District Council that takes the decision whether to grant permission or refuse.
