The District Council website has just flagged up an event in June:
CANEWDON OPEN GARDENS

Sunday 13th June ? 11am to 5pm ? A variety of country gardens in and around the village of Canewdon will be opened to the public.The church will also be open for tours of the tower and bell ringing demonstrations.
Ploughman?s lunches can be obtained at the Village Hall, and cakes and cream teas will also be served at some of the participating gardens.
Adults ?3 , accompanied children free.
Admission to the gardens by programme available at the Village Hall on the day.
Proceeds to Canewdon Horticultural Society, Canewdon Church Fund and Canewdon Community Association.
