2.2
It is the Post Office intention to continue to provide a service in the local community and they have explored a number of options that took into account access to public transport, the route and access to other branches, local population figures and other facilities available in the area. This established that a local service would present the best possible option. The new Post Office will offer extended opening hours, disabled access and parking facilities.
2.3
A new operator has been appointed to enable the Post Office services to be incorporated into the local Budgens convenience store in Hullbridge. The service will operate from a newly formatted open plan counter that will offer a range of key Post Office products and services, alongside retail transactions. The Post Office service will benefit from the extensive opening hours throughout the week provided by the operator, including Saturday afternoon and Sunday opening and will also provide parking and disabled access….
