Councillors are often told that modern local government is all about ‘partnership’ – different local bodies working together.

As mentioned elsewhere on onlineFOCUS, St Nicholas School is suffering from repeated, serious vandalism. This was outlined by Headteacher Mrs Bright at tonight’s West Area committee.

The Echo are going to publicise this and ask the public to keep their eyes open, the police are going to try to catch the vandals. What the district council needs to do is to stop providing the weaponry that’s being used – rubble and lumps of clay on the land next door that is being made into sports pitches.
