Two applications have been submitted for EV charging points in Rayleigh. Location 1 is the Market car park nr the existing Council Offices and location 2 is just outside ‘Feathering your nest’ in the High St.
Location 1 seems to be okay however Essex County County have objected the location 2 due to it being in the conservation area (not that that’s really made much difference in the past to planning applications) – they have suggested exploring alternative sites.
