Congratulations to Sergeant Ashley Hill, whom Rayleigh Town Council have made Citizen of the Year.

Sgt Ashley Hill, 30, of 1st Battalion the Royal Anglian Regiment, received the Military Cross after he ran through enemy fire to help two injured comrades during a 96-hour combat mission in Afghanistan.
