Huullbridge Green Councillor Michael Hoy has suggested a compromise regarding Hullbridge library:
I have written to Essex County Council objecting to the proposed cut of nearly 50% in the opening hours of Hullbridge Library. I have however suggested a compromise of opening for 24 hours a week in the year 2011-12 whilst alternative funding is looked at for the Library which would maintain the 24 hours in future years. I will keep you posted on how this is received by the County Council.
