Headway Essex is calling for hounds to take part in the Hockley Woods Dogathon on Sunday 25th March at 10.30am.Headway Dogathon at Highwoods Country Park.This is a sponsored event with a three mile route walk in the woods, as well as an alternative shorter walk.

Every year, dogs around the County help raise thousands of pounds for Headway Essex, the charity that supports those living with a brain injury and their families and carers.

There is a prize for raising the most sponsorship and rosettes to win in the fun dog show. All participating pooches will be awarded a personalised full colour Dogathon Certificate and some doggy treats.

Incidentally the actor David Tennant is patron of Headway Essex. If you don’t have a dog , you can support the charity by buying one of their rather fine T-shirts designed by David Tennant… (might make a generous present for a Doctor Who fan) or buy some Xmas cards….
