The overwhelming feedback has been that yesterday was a great day. And that RAYLEIGH + LOTS OF PEOPLE = GOOD TIMES.

Saturday 21st July at King George’s Playing Field – everything is free except BBQ and refreshments which are on sale at low prices.
Enjoy bouncy castles, face painting, craft activities, live bands, puppet shows and games.

There will be an inspection on Thursday to ascertain the state of the field. On Friday all the food etc has to be purchased. So while the weather may be good on Saturday a decision has to be made 2 days earlier. The condition of the field and any likely damage will be a major concern.
As at 9.10 Thurs this is still on. Council have given the all clear unless there is torential rain it is all GO.
