The Echo has reported on how a lorry got stuck in Weir Pond Road, Rochford on Friday because of badly parked cars on both sides of the road.
Apparently the congestion tailed back onto Ashingdon Road.
There’s a suggestion in the article that the District Council will now discuss the traffic problems here in September. However we’ve made some inquiries today and it looks like action will be taken much sooner. The County Council may introduce some double yellow lines at the ‘pinch point’ to stop this happening again.
