Enjoy a day of discovery in Hockley?s ancient woodlands and help us celebrate 2012 with an outdoor performance programme called Sparks Will Fly in Essex.
A special champion called Boreas Zephyr will be visiting Wild Woods Day as part of Sparks Will Fly and an epic journey around the county. A procession in Hockley Woods will be led by the world famous Bollywood Brass Band and an entourage of performers from Mushroom Theatre Company. The procession starts at 1pm followed by a performance….
Other activities on offer at Wild Woods Day 2012 include slacklining, geocaching, freestyle basketball and football skills, fencing, climbing wall, rare owl display, ?make and take? art activities and a demonstration of chainsaw wood carving.
Please note that there is no on-site parking at Wild Woods Day.
Free parking and shuttle bus service operates from Hockley Community Centre (SS5 4XD) and Greensward School (SS5 5HG). Please see map in related documents below.
