The agenda doesn’t look that exciting this time, although at least we’ll be able to get a thorough report on highways from Lyn Harvey.

Battlesbridge Conservation Plan: Long term actions: Riverside access and riverside frontages – A design brief/ concept statement would provide a basis for stimulating change – the key objectives would be enhancement of the area, public riverside access, continued employment use and possibly some form of recreational/retail/food uses associated with the visitor destination function of the area. Stakeholders
need to be involved at the next stage, including Parish representatives (Rawreth Parish Council, Hullbridge Parish Council, Rettendon Parish Council); appropriate Rochford and Chelmsford Members; County Highways; County Urban Design; Environment Agency; and landowners.

Grove Woods Area: 18 anti-social behaviour diaries were delivered to properties backing onto the fields – in Connaught Road, Grove Close, Grove Road and Katherine Close.
14 residents living in the vicinity discussed anti-social behaviour issues relating to the Grove area with Police Community Support Officers.
