We like to mention interesting blogs written by local people, and we’ve found one written by someone who’s moving to Rayleigh.
The Salvation Army Hall is one of Rayleigh’s iconic buildings – and it’s going to have a new person in charge of it. Salvation Army officer Andrew Bale is being transferred here from Dartford in Kent.
Interestingly, he has his own blog “Beyond The Brook”. He writes pretty frankly- for example , about discussing things with his atheist son, and that he believes that his failure to complete the book he is writing is for partly demonic reasons……
All in all , there’s plenty of stuff on his blog for people to either agree – or disagree – with.
It will be interesting to see what he makes of Rayleigh.
